Coating options of our configured aluminum window sills

For some aluminum profiles, the available coating options differ depending on the dimension of the profile. This is because sometimes certain coatings are not possible if, for example, the inside dimension is not wide enough.

However, this is different with our made-to-measure window sills: we coat your aluminum boards in the same way as we coat the window sills in 6-meter lengths.

Or rather, the aluminum sills are still coated when they are 6 meters long - only after the coating is the window sill cut to the appropriate desired lengths of our customers.

At this point it is important to pay attention to the manufacturing sequence!

If you configure your aluminum window sills on your own and specify your own dimensions, then we will cut it to size without any problems. However, as already mentioned, this is done after the profiles have come from the coating plant.

Accordingly, there are cut and saw marks at the interfaces of the window sill, which you can see and which are uncoated. At this point, the pure raw aluminum is visible.

As a rule, the sides of an exterior window sill are covered accordingly. This happens either by a suitable termination, or a suitable connector, which perfectly "interweaves" two window sills.

Accordingly, the interfaces under the connector or end piece are not visible.

This note is addressed to the customers who do not yet have certain plans regarding the assembly, installation or covering of the window sill sides and perhaps do not necessarily expect that the sides of the aluminum window sills are not coated.
